BILSAB, Bezmialem Foundation University Represented Turkey at ASV 2025 7/20/2025

Beykoz Life Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (BILSAB) of Bezmialem Foundation University represented Turkey at the 44th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Virology (ASV 2025), held in Montreal, Canada. ASV is one of the world's most prestigious scientific platforms in the field of virology, bringing together hundreds of leading researchers and experts from across the globe.


Sercan Keskin, a PhD student in the Biotechnology Program at the Graduate School of Health Sciences of Bezmialem Vakıf University and a researcher at the Institute of Life Sciences and Biotechnology (BILSAB), represented Bezmialem Vakıf University and the Doymaz Viral Immunology Laboratory at the 44th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Virology (ASV 2025), held on July 14–17, 2025, at McGill University, Montréal, Canada. He presented his research on an mRNA-based vaccine candidate against Crimean–Congo Hemorrhagic Fever Virus (CCHFV) and was awarded the ASV 2025 Student Travel Award in recognition of his scientific excellence. His participation highlighted the scientific capacity, high-quality research output, and expanding international engagement of BILSAB, Bezmialem Foundation University, reaffirming their position as active contributors to advanced virology research on the global stage.


Bezmialem Foundation University was the only university from Turkey to participate in this distinguished international meeting, marking a significant achievement for both the institution and the national scientific community.
