Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine has taken another significant step toward cultivating scientifically competent physicians. The 9th Research Day program, organized as part of the “Scientific Committee" developed in collaboration with Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, was successfully held on March 14, 2025, with strong participation. This important event aimed to enhance the research skills of medical students and to lay a solid foundation for their academic careers.
During the event, our students presented the outcomes of their completed research projects to a broad audience. A total of 84 presentations were delivered, including 10 podium presentations, 39 short oral presentations, and 35 poster presentations, providing students with the opportunity to share their research topics. These presentations not only contributed to the development of scientific thinking skills but also supported the improvement of academic communication competencies.
As Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, we remain committed to supporting our students in developing their research capabilities and engaging in scientific studies at an international level. Events like these not only promote academic growth but also play a vital role in preparing our students to become confident and articulate professionals in the global medical community.
