An Event Where Music, Theater, and Entertainment Reached Their Peak
The annual Culture, Arts, and Sports Events at Bezmiâlem Vakıf University were celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy on May 12, 2025. Students, amidst their busy academic schedules, came together to enjoy events where culture, arts, and sports blended, creating unforgettable moments.
The event took place in the inner courtyard of the historic central campus, where Bezmiâlem Vakıf University's Rector, Prof. Dr. Adem Akçakaya, and the General Secretary, Dr. Zeynep Görmezoğlu, joined the students and toured the event space.
The festivities began with an energetic performance by the university's Music Club. Students felt the excitement of the festival right from the first moment, dancing to the rhythm of the music. This was followed by a performance by the Mahşer-i Cümbüş Theater, which filled the atmosphere with laughter. The theatrical performance offered participants a humorous break, reinforcing the enjoyable ambiance of the festival. Later, the Shawty concert kept the students engaged as they continued to sing along and enjoy the fun.
The event concluded with a performance by Mavi Gri, where the young crowd reached the peak of entertainment, creating unforgettable memories. This concert increased the tempo of the event and provided attendees with moments filled with music, ensuring they enjoyed the entertainment to the fullest.
An Artistic Experience: Workshops
The Culture, Arts, and Sports Events were not limited to music and theater; they also hosted creative workshops. Activities like the Felt Workshop, Traditional and Modern Calligraphy Workshops, and the Fabric Bag Painting Workshop offered participants an immersive artistic experience. In the Felt Workshop, students created their own designs, while in the Calligraphy Workshops, they learned to write their names artistically. The fabric bag painting session provided a fun and creative outlet for the participants.
The Perfect Blend of Competition and Fun with Tournaments
Another highlight of the event was the exciting tournaments in which students competed. Tournaments such as XOX, Mini Basketball, Arm Wrestling, Live Foosball, and Slotcar kept participants entertained while increasing the competitive spirit, boosting the overall energy of the festival. These tournaments emphasized the sporting aspect of the event, providing an opportunity for engaging competition in various domains.
