Our university was met with great interest at the National Lung Health Congress (UASK) where developments in lung diseases in Turkey and worldwide are handled. The congress was held in Antalya and took place between 15-18th March and the while the leading General Secretary was BVU Medical Faculty Hospital Pulmonology Department Doç. Dr. Muhammed Emin Akkoyunlu, our hospital was represented by Pulmonology Department doctors Doç. Dr. Mehmet Bayram, Yrd. Doç. Dr. Fatmanur Okyaltırık, Uzm. Dr. Didem Özkan, Uzm. Dr. Esat Hayat, Uzm. Dr. Abdullah Kansu, Thoracic Surgery Department doctors Doç. Dr. Sedat Ziyade and Uzm. Dr. Abdulaziz Kök and Corporate Communications Directorate Erdal Binay. Throughout the congress while our University was being introduced information about our hospitals pulmonology department and related academic staff, technologic opportunities and the applied treatments were given out.
Our Student Received the "Young Scientist Poster Notice" Award
At the congress the panel titled "COPD Non Medication Treatments" belonging to Pulmonology Department Doç. Dr. Muhammed Emin Akkoyunlu , his presentation "Whats There in Oxygen Treatment" was met with great interest.
Medical Faculty student Ayşe Hilal Başhan won the "Young scientist poster notice" award with her presentation on "Continuous Medical Training : Requirements and Expectations". Also , Medical faculty student Kemal Nalbantoğlu with his presentation "'Daytime Somnolency in Patients with Heavy Sleep Apne Uyku Apne Syndrome'', Medical faculty student Hilal Betül Yazgan with "''Hekimlerde İş Yoğunluğu İşe Bağlı Gerginlik Workload and work related stress in doctors and Smoking and fatigue relationship" was met with great interest.
