Our university, participated the 69th NAFSA, which is the worlds most prestigious education conference for the 6th time. Our rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, General Secretary Zeynep Gökçen and International Relations Head of Office Sevsen Batı represented our university at NAFSA which was held in Los Angeles, California, USA between the 28th of May – 2nd June with 9.568 participants. All through the conference our executives held a range of meetings and signed under agreements among universities.
Our university laid the foundations of many new international collaboratons between universities by addressing current matters regarding international education at the conference. At the conference where many meetings and collaborations were carried out, the student exchange programme meetings with Zumyi Medical University were held by our executives, the first steps were taken for collaborations with University of Johannesburg's Health Sciences and a new contractual university was added after holding a meeting with one of China's most important universities, Jinan University's , Medical Faculty dean. Also, our executives gathered round with the University Of California Irvine executives. All through the conference information about Bezmialem Vakıf University's history, education quality and physical opportunities was given.
