Gale Interactive: Human Anatomy
Engaging, interactive models bring science to life, allowing students to better visualize and understand human anatomy, supporting university coursework. Students and instructors can manipulate and explore 3D models that are paired with reference and periodical content for further understanding.
With 125 sessions covering all systems (skeletal, muscular, nervous, circulatory, digestive, respiratory, urinary, and reproductive) and all regions (upper limb, thorax, abdomen, head and neck, lower limb, and pelvis), this unique visual spatial learning product offers students, faculty, and librarians of academic universities a new way to learn, teach and interact with human anatomy.
Quizzing after each session is popular with students as a learning tool, and is also included in the product. Students can interact with the models, read (or listen) to periodical and reference content about a session, or connect to research outside of Gale Interactive: Human Anatomy and access their institutions science based GVRL eBook collection (through interlinking). The 3D print files also allow a university to utilize their 3D printers for lab models and lecture props.
