"Erasmus Information Seminar" which is organized by the International Relations Office took place for the first time in Bezmialem Vakif University on 29th March 2013. International Relations Office Coordinator Pınar ELBASAN gave information about the activities and bilateral agreements were established by International Relations Office. Following that Prof. Dr. Ethem GÜNEREN, Head of Department, Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, was invited to give the opening speech. After his speech, he gave a presentation focusing on "Bologna", "Erasmus" and "Mobility" issues and pointed out the importance of Internationalization. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Atilla AKDEMIR, Erasmus Instutional Coordinator gave detailed information on bilateral agreements signed by the faculties of our University and gave a presentation on Erasmus Programme. The presentation focused on different topics concerning "What is the Erasmus Programme", "Erasmus' Benefits", "Bezmialem Vakif University and Erasmus", "Erasmus Process-How It Works". Ceren GENÇ, International Relations Advisor to the President of Altın Koza University, gave a speech on topics "The Historical Development of the Bologna Process", "ECTS", and “Work Load", then introduced the Erasmus Programme to our students, academic and administrative staff by giving detailed information on the Erasmus process. Finally Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevinç HATİPOĞLU Erasmus Institutional Coordinator of Istanbul University, was invited to the podium to share their experience throughout the process while giving her presentation on the subject of "Erasmus at Istanbul University". The seminar ended with a lively question and answer session.
