2016-2017 Erasmus+ Staff Mobility 25.11.2016

How and When Are 2016-2017 Erasmus+ Spring Semester Staff Mobility Applications Carried Out? 
Staff members wishing to participate in the 2016-2017 Erasmus+ staff mobility are required to complete the application form and submit it to our office.
Interested staff may apply to the 2016-2017 Erasmus+ staff mobility between 25 November and 25 December 2016.
A language exam will be held between 25 and 30 December 2016, and the date will be announced following applications.
Documents Required for Application:
 Application Form, Foreign Language Certificate if any;

For YDS;

For Academic Staff, at least min. 70 points

For Administrative Staff, at least min. 50 points

From Cambridge Exams;

CAE min. B

CPE min. C

TOEFL; 
IBT min. 75
*The validity of YDS is 2 years.
**ÜDS is not valid.

What Is the Erasmus Staff Mobility?
The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility is academic staff working at one of the EUC holder institutions of higher education teaching at another EUC holder institution of higher education in another European Country for at most 8 weeks, at least 5 hours a week within 1 academic year, or for academic/administrative staff at an EUC holder institution of higher education receiving education at an EUC holder institution of higher education or business.
The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility is divided into 2 sub activities in itself:
 
1- Teaching Mobility:
Is the sub activity allowing teaching staff at an EUC holder institution of higher education teaching at another EUC holder institution of higher education in another European country.
The aims of the Teaching Mobility is as follows: Offering students who are unable to participate in the mobility program to benefit from the knowledge and experience of academic staff from institutions of higher education in other European Countries, Encouraging expertise and experience exchange in pedagogical methods, Expanding on the types and content of courses offered by institutions of higher education, encouraging their enrichment,

Conditions for Participating in Staff Teaching Mobility:

1. Be at least part time academic staff at an EUC holder institution of higher education,

2. An agreement between universities,

3. The existence of a teaching program accepted by both the sending and visited institution of higher education (The teaching program must be signed by the parties, and must include at least the general aim/goals, content and expected results of the program to be carried out). 

NOTE: To be able to earn a grant during the teaching mobility, at least 8 hours of lessons must be given at the visited institution of higher education.
 

2. Education Mobility

Is the sub activity area allowing any staff employed at a EUC holder institution of higher education in Turkey in order to receive education.

The Staff Training Mobility activity covers two mobility types;

1. Mobility of Staff Going from Institution of Higher Education to a business 
The aim of this type of mobility, is for them to learn with transfer of information and experience, and allows them to gain practical skills. Main activities may be seminars, workshops, courses and conferences, practical education processes, short assignments etc.


 2. Mobility of Staff Going from Institution of Higher Education to another Institution of Higher Education
 The aim of this type of mobility is for people benefitting to learn from the experience/good practices of other institutions and develop the required skills for their existing position. The main activities may be on the job training, work visits, short assignments etc.
