Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health Approved Certified Phytotherapy Training Program
At Bezmialem Foundation University Phytotherapy Centre
Beginning September 2016
With the authorisation given to the Bezmialem Foundation University by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health Traditional and Complementary Medicine Practices Department, on 24 September 2016, Ministry of Health approved Certified Phytotherapy Training Program for Specialist Doctors will commence for doctors.
The method of basing phytotherapy on a scientific foundation is its application and recommendation by physicians who have received Phytotherapy training in medicinal plants and herbal products; these products being given to patients by pharmacists who have received training on these products, and the explanation of usage instructions is of great importance in terms of public health.
162 hours of the 280 hour course to be offered in accordance with the Ministry of Health Regulations will be theoretical, with 80% of this (128 hours) carried out remotely through synchronous and asynchronous training. As no more than 8 hours training can be provided according to the same regulation, the course has been planned as follows.

01-02 October Synchronous Training (16 Hours)
08-09 October Synchronous Training (16 Hours)
15-23 October (9 days) Face to Face training (62 hours)
29-30 October Synchronous Training (15 Hours)
05-06 November Synchronous Training (13 Hours)
November 12 Synchronous Training (4 hours)
13 November-04 December Asynchronous Training (58 Hours)
05-16 December Clinical Training (80 Hours)
24 December 2016 Theoretical Exam
25 December 2016 Practical Exam
Conditions for the pre-application process and application requirements will be announced on our website in August.
Participation fee in the Certified Phytotherapy Training Program has been determined as 5800 TL + 8% VAT = 6264 TL.
