With the invitation of Turkish Orthodontics Foundation Chairman and our Dean of Faculty of Dentistry, Prof. Dr. Serdar Üşümez, Department of Orthodontics Chairmen from all over Turkey held a meeting to discuss about the agenda and the problems of the education and the profession of orthodontics.
Our Faculty of Dentistry Department of Orthodontics Chairman Assoc. Dr. Sabri İlhan Ramoğlu stated that Turkish orthodontics has a very reputable place in the world. In the meeting where the future of orthodontics in Turkey was discussed and Turkish Orthodontics Foundation Board of Directors were present, Ramoğlu also noted that they consulted with all the Heads of Departments of Orthodontics and examined the problems about orthodontics education and profession and sought best ways to improve treatment quality and make orthodontics more accessible by informing the society about orthodontics and leading them.
Ramoğlu further added that the accreditation in training was discussed came up and he's glad to have conducted a productive meeting.
