Another achievement from Bezmialem Vakif University, the Pioneer in Health. 3rd Grader Ahmet Serdar Mutluer of our University of Medicine was accepted as an intern to European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), which carries out works in many fields from renewable energy to medical research. Ahmet Serdar Mutluer will undergo training for 1 month on brain waves and is the first medical student to be accepted as an intern at CERN.
Speaking on this success, Mutluer thanked our University and added, ‘CERN had never nominated a medical student before. Normally, they accept interns from technical universities. No medical student was accepted to this internship. I got in contact with professors working on neurosciences. I made studies on brain waves. They invited me to Switzerland to work in my field. I cannot deny the support and help I received from my University. I would like to thank all our administrators and teachers.’
