Gökhan Cabar, our 4th Grade Student at the Faculty of Medicine attended the International Applied Microsurgery School’s course organized between July 24 and 31.
Our student succeeded and received certificate of competency for the ‘Basic Microsurgical Techniques’ course organized by Romanian Surgery Students’ Union.’ Our Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu visited our student at the course’s location and thanked him. Our Chancellor noted that as Bezmialem Vakif University, they will always provide support to the student. Our student, Gökhan Cabar said, ‘I am very pleased with succeeding at this course with a limited quota and to which very small number of medical students attends from many countries. Throughout the one-week course, I performed microsurgical techniques on vascular and nerve micro anastomosis and on animal subjects. I advise all my friends to continuously do research on their respective fields.
