‘World Diabetes Day Symposium’ event was organized at our University within the scope of ‘November 14, World Diabetes Day.’ At the symposium carried out in the Conference Hall of our Deanship on November 21, Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Dr. Ahmet Belce, Prof. Dr. Ertuğrul Taşan, Prof. Dr. Nermin Olgun, Associate Prof. Dr. Özcan Karaman, Assistant Prof. Dr. Alis Kostanoğlu, Expert Nutritionist Betül Koçak, Diabetes Nurse Özlem Buran and Diabetes Nurse Arzu Akkoç gave presentations on diabetes. Our faculty members, doctors, students, patients and citizens attended the event. Blood sugars of attendants were measured for free by our health personnel at the event. The event was carried out with the collaboration of our Nutrition Club, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Club, Colors of Health Student Club and Continuous Education Application and Research Center.
