Marmara Teknokent’s General Manager Dr. Orhan Çömlek visited Bezmialem Vakif University’s Biology and Life Sciences Institute at Beykoz. Our Chancelor Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Ethem Güneren, General Secretary Zeynep Gökçen, Dean of our Faculty of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Gülaçtı Topçu, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Erdal Tekarslan, Head of Life Sciences and Biotechnology Institute and Medical Microbiology Department, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ziya Doymaz, Head of Physiotherapy Education, Application and Research Center Prof. Dr. Murat Kartal and Faculty of Medicine Biophysics Department Faculty Member Assistant Prof. Dr. Serdar Uysal attended the meeting organized with the cooperation of TÜBİTAK MARTEK and our University.
At the meeting, the technological collaboration of TÜBİTAK MARTEK and our University was discussed. Projects and cooperation opportunities for the future were sought and how our University could benefit from TÜBİTAK MARTEK’s opportunities and establish its own techno-city was discussed at the meeting. After the meeting, the sample laboratory of Associate Prof. Serday Uysal, who is a faculty member of our Biotechnology and Life Sciences Institute, was visited and Dr. Uysal gave information about the biotechnological products produced at the laboratory to the participants.
