In order to contribute to science and to raise research doctors, Johns Hopkins University, one of the most respected universities in the United States, carried out a Scientific Committee program, which took place in scope of a curriculum development program.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Assistant rectors Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay and Prof. Dr. Orhan Özturan, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, Committee Supervisor Prof. Dr. Meliha Meriç Koç and Dr. Stephen Sozio and Dr. Sarah Wheelan of the Johns Hopkins University attended the training.
At the Scientificity Committee programme, that went on for two days which we hosted together with the Johns Hopkins University, Head of the Infectious Diseases Department, Committee Supervisor Prof. Dr. Meliha Meriç Koç, Dr. Stephen Sozio and Dr. Sarah Wheelan gave out a presentation on how our Medical Students should carry out their projects. The program ended after the 4th and 5th year medical students presented their projects to the committee and conducted group work with our academicians.
