Our Faculty of Medicine has successfully completed the accreditation certificate evaluation process carried out by the Association of Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical Education Programmes (TEPDAD) and the National Accreditation Board of Medical Education (UTEAK). Our Faculty of Medicine, which was approved to be accredited as a result of evaluations which have lasted for more than one year, was granted the 6 year valid accreditation certificate.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Assistant Rector Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Tuncay, TEPDAD President Prof. Dr. Iskender Sayek, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, Our General Secretary, Dr. Zeynep Görmezoğlu Gökçen, our academicians and our students attended the Faculty of Medicine Accreditation Certificate Ceremony which was held at our University's Deanship Conference Hall.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu held a speech at the ceremony. Our Rector stated; "Our Faculty of Medicine has been awarded accreditation by the Association of Evaluation and Accreditation of Medical Education Programmes and the National Board of Medical Education Accreditation. I would like to state that I found the success of our Faculty of Medicine, which was found eligable for being accredited in a short period of two years since its first graduates, very valuable. I would like to express my gratitude to the UTEAK Chairman and its members for this certificate presentation ceremony and this guiding evaluation process. I would like to congratulate the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, who has made great efforts and contributions to this process, and all of our university administration, academic and administrative staff and students. We wish our proud achievements to grow exponentially with each passing period…"
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, stated; " Behind the difficult process we have covered together lies the great determination and dedication we have shown together. Today we will receive the Accreditation Certificate of the Faculty of Medicine. I would like to thank my dear colleagues and students who have stood by me during my deanship duty and worked with me day and night. I wish for our certificate to be beneficial to our university administration, academicians and administrative staff, especially our esteemed Rector, who has always supported us."
After the presentation of the Accreditation Certificate by TEPDAD President Prof. Dr. Iskender Sayek to our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, the ceremony ended with a photo shoot.
