In cooperation with the Ministry of Trade and the Health and Diplomacy Association, we hosted a delegation from Senegal to share our experiences in the field of health with the international platform.
The delegation visit, which included the Chief Physician and doctors from various branches from Senegal, was carried out in order to demonstrate the treatment opportunities and special services offered to patients on site.
We will continue to take part in cooperation and joint projects from now on.
Our Rector Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, who made an assessment on the subject, said, “We were very proud to host our colleagues from Senegal in our University and Hospitals. We are very happy to share with them the services and state-of-the-art technological opportunities offered by Bezmiâlem in the field of health and to exchange information. The feedback we received reminded us once again how successful we are in the field of health, where human life is at stake. It was an honor for us to be a role model for the international platform with our 2 centuries of health experience. They were particularly impressed by the health services provided by our expert physicians, our state-of-the-art devices and the importance we attach to hygiene in health. We will continue our cooperation in order to transfer our experiences in the fields of health and education to our colleagues in Senegal and to ensure its continuity". The delegation from Senegal visited various services and laboratories in the University and Hospital under the guidance of Bezmialem Vakıf University Rector Prof. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, General Secretary Dr. Zeynep Görmezoğlu, Chief Physician Prof. Alparslan Mayadağlı and Prof. Sedat Ziyade, as well as Deputy Chief Physicians. The delegation, which was hosted at the Central Hospital during the visit, which was also attended by the Health Diplomacy Association General Secretary Dr. Eyüp Kahveci, went to Dragos Hospital after lunch and made examinations. The visit ended in the evening hours after the presentation of mutual gifts and a group photo.
