Bezmiâlem Vakıf University's traditional circumcision ceremony, held annually, was conducted once again this year in collaboration with the General Directorate of Foundations. Approximately 40 children were circumcised as part of this event.
Bezmiâlem Vakıf University continued its tradition of organizing circumcision ceremonies for children in need. In collaboration with the General Directorate of Foundations, the circumcision ceremony took place from July 22 to 26 at the Urology Department of the Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine Hospital. Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bilgin, and General Secretary Dr. Zeynep Görmezoğlu visited the circumcised children, presented them with gifts, and shared in the excitement of the children's families.
Bezmiâlem Vakıf University, a continuation of the Bezmiâlem Vakıf Gureba-i Müslimin Hospital established in 1845 by Bezmiâlem Valide Sultan for those in need, continues to uphold the same mission and vision today.
