Since its establishment, our university has continued its activities aimed at helping those in need, and it remains committed to traditional circumcision events. In this context, an event was held with great enthusiasm on August 23, 2024, where 20 children were circumcised with the support of our Urology Department and Anesthesia Unit.
Our university continues its tradition of organizing circumcision events for the children of those in need. On August 23, 2024, 20 children were circumcised with contributions from our Urology Department and Anesthesia Unit. Following the circumcision procedures, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bilgin, Secretary General Dr. Zeynep Görmezoğlu, Assistant Secretary General Muhammed Sacit Çakır, Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Mustafa Çakırca and Dr. Lecturer Muhammed Tunç, along with our Director of Student Affairs Hüseyin Emre Yüksel, visited the children, presented gifts, and shared in the excitement of their families.
To uplift the children, an unforgettable day was organized with circumcision cakes and their favorite songs. Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Hospital, founded in 1845 by Bezmiâlem Valide Sultan to support those in need, continues to uphold this mission and vision today.
