The “Melanoma Mastery Symposium in Honor of Prof. Dr. Nahide Onsun and Prof. Dr. Sıdıka Kurul," organized by the Departments of Dermatology and Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Bezmialem Vakıf University School of Medicine, was successfully completed with contributions from esteemed experts in the field. This special event took place on November 8 at the Erich Frank Conference Hall, hosted by our university.
The symposium, held in honor of our leading professors in the field of melanoma, Prof. Dr. Nahide Onsun and Prof. Dr. Sıdıka Kurul, began with an opening speech by the School of Medicine's Vice Dean, Prof. Dr. Özlem Su Küçük. The program included distinguished speakers and participants who have made significant contributions to the field, covering a comprehensive range of topics such as the history of melanoma, diagnosis and staging processes, surgical methods, systemic treatment approaches, and various other aspects of the disease.
Throughout the event, sessions were conducted with the support of experienced moderators, providing participants with scientific presentations and interactive discussions. This unique symposium, where experts shared their knowledge and experience, offered attendees valuable insights and created a solid foundation for future research.
