The very first of the workshops that was carried out in order to increase scientific studies at the BVU Faculty of Medicine was carried out in Gebze TÜBİTAK TÜSSİDE General Headquarters.
Chairman of the Board of Trustees Ahmet Akça, our rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, Assistant Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay, Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, General Secretary Zeynep Gökçen, Heads of Departments and Fields, our executives and academicians attended the meeting which took place between 11- 12th of November.
As BVU Faculty of Medicine, the aim of the meeting was to exchange ideas on the academic studies, to develope new ideas in order to carry our university a step further and to produce international publishings, which are one of the most important aspects of the academic life.
"Where we are at Science, How we are Nationally" titled panel began at the workshop, as Bezmialem Faculty of Medicine. Later, a chat session was held on the matters of "What do have in our Infrastructure, What kinds of Studies are Carried out with which Opportunities". Another subject was "Planning of Interdisciplinary Studies". A small group study was carried out on this matter and the ideas of the groups were listened to. Lastly, the matters on "How Must Projects be Carried out, Where Can Support be Obtained". As a result, all matters concerning scientific studies were debated and the ideas and contributions of our faculty members were taken into consideration.
This meeting which was held in scientific and social aspects, came to an end by achieving its goal and by the positive feedback of the attendants.
