Bezmiâlem Vakıf University offered high school students a unique opportunity to experience medical school through its Profession Observation Program, held from April 2nd to 4th, 2025. The program aimed to give young people an in-depth understanding of the healthcare field while also contributing to their informed career planning.
Hands-On Observation in a Real Hospital Setting
A total of 25 students, selected from various high schools, had the chance to engage with specialized physicians at Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Hospital throughout the program. During their clinical observations, participants witnessed real patient care and gained valuable insights into the operation of healthcare services.
Over the three-day program, students explored different aspects of medical education by observing three distinct departments, out of the 15 available, and learned about various facets of the medical profession. This experience allowed participants to discover their areas of interest and shape their future career plans accordingly.
Guidance for Career Planning
Through interactive workshops during the program, students were equipped with the tools to make more informed career decisions. Direct communication with physicians helped them develop a realistic and accurate perspective on the medical profession.
