Our University attended the 28th European Association for International Education (EAIE) exhibition which was held in Liverpool, England between 13-16 September. Representing our university our International Affairs Office Rep. Sevsen Batı attended the exhibition where topics on Refugee Problems in European Higher Education and Presentation and Advertising projects en route internationalizing were covered.
The conference, where the famous writer Richard Gerver gave his opening speech, continued with another opening reception that same night. As part of the tuesday campus tours The University of Liverpool was visited and during the rest of the conference negotiations were carried out and steps towards bilateral cooperation took place with universities who had opened up stands at the exhibition.
EAIE, which aims to unite higher education in Europe and in the world into an international structure, is a civil non governmental organisation that meets the professional requirements of individuals operating in the educational field. Our university who attends EAIE exhibitions every year since 2013, establishes new international connections and partnerships by carrying our academic presentations.
