Bezmialem Vakıf University, the university of firsts in health, opened Conventional and Complementary Medicine Further Research and Application center (GETAMER). Our rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, ISTKA General Secretary Özgül Özkan Yavuz, rector consultant Prof. Dr. Erdal Tekarslan, assistant rector Prof. Dr. Ethem Güneren, General Secretary Zeynep Gökçen, GETAMER Coordinator Prof. Dr. Abdürrahim Koçyiğit, Medical Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Dilek Sema Arıcı, Faculty of Pharmacy dean Prof. Dr. Gülaçtı Topçu, Health Sciences Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Ahmet Belce and academicians joined the "Conventional and Complementary Medicine Further Research and Application center conference" which followed up right after the opening of GETAMER.
Our rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu who carried out the opening speech, "Important steps in our country are being taken regarding the conventional and complementary medicine receiving the value it deserves once again after years of being iterated and sunken into oblivion. In this regard, we, as Bezmialem Vakıf University, the university of firsts in the health field, are trying to contribute towards the reanimation of conventional and complementary medicine. We are in need of carrying out scientific studies in the conventional and complementary medicine field in our country, ensuring standardization and raising qualified people in this field. I have eternal belief that the Conventional and Complementary Medicine Further Research and Application center will close the gap in this field."
