The Internationally participated "Bezmialem Orthopedic Meeting II" was held at our university.
Rector Prof. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, our assistant Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay, our General Secretary Zeynep Gökçen, our managers and academicians attended the meeting which was carried out with the participation of 9 valuable scientists from 7 countries and orthopedics valuable scientists from within our country, where th BVU Auditorium was opened for use for the first time with this event.
In the "Bezmialem Orthopedic Meeting II ", which was attended by national and international scientists, current surgical techniques and case discussions were carried out in adult reconstruction in the field of Orthopedics and Traumatology which is one of the fastest growing branches of medicine in the world and in our country. In addition, more than 200 scientists who participated in the conference participated in the meeting, sharing the experiences of valuable scientists and their surgical operations with videos through interactive information and skills.
Our Rector Prof. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu who carried out the openin speech, stated, "Welcome to the second Orthopedic Meeting of Bezmialem. I would like to say that I am very happy to see the precious scientists participating in the national and international area together at Bezmialem. The increase of aging population around the world, the intense effects of city life over health and the quality of life is increasing the importance of orthopedy more and more each day. For this reason, we can say that one of the fastest growing branches of medicine in the world and in our country is Orthopedics. As Bezmialem Foundation University, we closely follow all kinds of scientific, technological and social changes in orthopedics field and diagnosis process. We are doing scientific research and providing health care services with competent academic staff and health personnel who are aware of the relationship between health and quality of life. We apply world-class treatments. I would like to reiterate our founder Bezmialem Valide Sultan who once again supports scientific studies of the period and has laid the foundation of modern health service. I would like wish that the Orthopedics Meeting, which will be held here for 2 days, to be beneficial to my country, to our nation, to my university, to the national and international academic and to all humanity
Our Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay, who spoke of the developments in the field of orthopedy in Turkey, stated, "We are well above the average level as Turkish science, medicine and orthopedics. Whatever is being done with the most advanced technology in the world, we are at least as successful as they are. Besides this, the main objectives should be on development, experimentation and development of new devices".
Our assistant Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Tuncay expressed that there are many ways to train in science in the digital era but that nothing is worth as much as the years of experience of the masters in medical education. The "Bezmialem Orthopedic Meeting II" ended after the handin out of the thank you plaquets after an honorary dinner which our Rector and Assist. Rector held for our dear participants and a family photo shoot.
