A 3 cm diameter benign parathyroid tumor was removed by entering the neck region of the patient without any incision through a new operation technique applied to a limited number of patients in the medical literature of the Faculty of Medicine at Bezmialem Vakıf University. The high blood calcium and parathormone levels of the preoperative patients were determined by Prof. Dr., Erhan Ayşan of the Bezmialem Vakif University Department of General Surgery and his team.A Parathyroid tumor 3 cm in diameter was detected in the frontal neck and in the lower edge of the thyroid gland in the examinations performed.The patient was interviewed and informed about the new surgical technique and their approval was obtained. Then, a videoendoscopic technique was performed through three holes of 5 mm in diameter made from the inside of the mouth and the inner side of the lower lip, and the tumor detected in the preoperative examinations was removed with a successful surgical procedure.
