Fifth grade student Ahmet Serdar Mutluer of the Faculty of Medicine was invited as a lecturer for the 1st International Gene-actual Nobelium Science Days organized by the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department of the Faculty of Medicine at the Erzurum Technical University.
The International Nobelium Science Congress was organized with the participation of 15 scientists, including Nobel Prize-winning scientist Tim Hunt, at the Erzurum Technical University. Ahmet Serdar Mutluer, a student from our Faculty of Medicine, carried out a speech on "Understanding the Brain" at the congress which was organized as the Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress in Eastern Anatolia for the first time.
Scientists at the congress, which was attended by approximately 300 students and academics studying at various undergraduate and graduate levels, carried out presentations on; molecular biology, immunogenetics, molecular genetics, biotechnology, cancer, nanotechnology, neuroscience, stem cell, microbiology, bioinformatics, genetic engineering, evolution and pharmaceutical technology.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Rumeyza Kazancoğlu congratulated our students and wished them continuous success in their scientific studies.
