Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Congress was organized under the theme of Career Planning and Entrepreneurship in Lifelong Health and Physiotherapist Profession.
Our Rector Consultant and Dean of Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Erdal Tekarslan, Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. H. Nilgun Gürses and many academicians and students from different areas of Turkey participated in the congress.
Our Rector Consultant and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Erdal Tekarslan carried out his opening speeches after the stand of silence and the National Anthem; "The prolongation of the average human life, the diversification of diseases, the emergence of new needs and scientific developments have led to the emergence of new fields of business and profession in the health sector. Faculty of Health Sciences is of great importance and value to meet these needs.
As Bezmialem, it is our priority to train future managers, health professionals and personnel in the fields needed by the rapidly developing health sector in our country together with the rest of the world. As in our other departments, in the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department of the Faculty of Health Sciences, we are taking correct and confident steps towards raising health professionals who are fully equipped, able to research, capable of scientific thinking and scientific practice."
Speaking of her admiration towards the presentations of the participants and students, the Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. H. Nilgün Gürses stated; "I would like to express my respect to our dear students and our esteemed teachers who enriched our 2nd Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Congress with their participation."
The 2nd Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Student Congress which was held under the theme of Lifelong Health and Physiotherapist Career Planning and Entrepreneurship ended after the demonstration of frequently used exercise models accompanied by students.
