Our university, a pioneer in the field of health with its long two centuries of history, welcomed the 2018-2019 academic year graduates.
Our university, which has the distinction of being the first medical university in Turkey held graduation ceremonies of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Health Sciences and Vocational School of Health Services, which were participated by our students and their parents with great enthusiasm, between 8-12 July.
Our graduation ceremony took place at our University's Vatan Campus with the opening speech carried out by our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu.
Addressing our graduates at the ceremony, our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu stated; "My esteemed young colleagues, you have completed the intensive education programme of Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Medicine, which has a long history of nearly two centuries, and you have taken the first step to your long awaited profession with great excitement. As a result of the pursuits and efforts you have made today, you have been entitled to receive your graduation certificates which we will present to you. First of all, I congratulate each one of you and embrace you with love. "
While making recommendations for health workers in her speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu stated; "You all know that health is the most valuable and precious treasure of human life. The most important thing I always want you, my colleagues, to keep in mind is ; being a health soldier, saving lives, contributing to the happiness of people by touching their lives are above all kinds of appreciation and there is no financial equivelence for this. Regardless of the circumstances, no matter what financial means or impossibilities you may have, keep your motivation alive, while keeping in mind the strength and awareness of the sacred importance of improving human health. When you carry out your duty with this consciousness and belief, be sure that it will reach you both morally and financially. There is no doubt that you, who grew up in the Bezmialem atmosphere, will duly fulfill the profession of medicine. "
The works of Eşrefoğlu were greatly appreciated at the ceremony where the Deputy Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Muhammed Güven participated and our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu inaugurated the exhibition.
