The 31th EAIE Conference was held in Helsinki, Finland on 24th – 27th
September 2019, Asst. Prof. Dr. Fatemeh Bahadori, Lecturer and Erasmus
Coordinator of Faculty of Pharmacy Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Nursing Department
and Erasmus Coordinator Sema Bayraktar (Lecturer as well) and Assistant Specialist from International
Relations Office Serkan Kanca represented Bezmialem Vakif University. The conference, lasted for 4 days, which
started with an information session on the Finnish Higher Education System and about 6500 participants from 95 countries was
attended. Within the scope of
the conference, participation in concurrent meetings and seminars was provided
for awareness raising, and a decision was taken to cooperate under the Erasmus
Exchange Program. Steps have been taken to
conclude agreements with universities in many countries from Finland to Sweden,
from the Netherlands to Estonia, from Hungary to Colombia.
