Scientists from Bezmialem Vakıf University have been recognized in the “World's Most Influential Scientists 2024" list prepared by Stanford University.
With a two-century legacy in health and collaborations with international institutions, Bezmialem Vakıf University's researchers have again been included in the “World's Most Influential Scientists 2024" list. Stanford University compiles this list based on citation rates and the number of scientific papers published in 2023, ranking researchers globally.
Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, the Rector of Bezmialem Vakıf University, ranks 77,491st in the world and 434th in Turkey in the “Annual Impact" category. Prof. Dr. Gülaçtı Topçu, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, ranks 89,655th globally and 209th in Turkey in the “Career Impact" category, while also placing 108,724th worldwide and 608th in Turkey for “Annual Impact."
Prof. Dr. Murat Kartal, Director of the Center for Phytotherapy Education, Research, and Application, ranks 151,216th globally and 408th in Turkey for “Career Impact," and 198,177th worldwide and 1,020th in Turkey for “Annual Impact."
Prof. Dr. Abdurrahim Koçyiğit, Chair of the Department of Medical Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine, ranks 268,913th globally and 1,217th in Turkey for “Annual Impact." Prof. Dr. Pınar Soysal from the Department of Internal Medicine ranks 69,628th in the world and 386th in Turkey, while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Belma Zengin Kurt from the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry ranks 228,749th globally and 1,131st in Turkey.
