INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE
In an endeavor to carry out internationalization policy at BVU as well as its Erasmus For All activities, International Relations Office (IRO) has been established from the first year of the foundation.
IRO serves as the Center for supporting international partnership connections, collaborating with other units, international representation of the University, arranging and leading global activities, assisting academic planning in the framework of Bologna Process/EHEA, conducting all Mobility activities, supporting for the mobility of students / staff and development of opportunities for international experiences and understanding, counseling international students and their recruitment, providing opportunities for BVU students to study abroad.
IRO has been organizing info-day sessions for students and staff regarding Erasmus for all programs and selection procedures and making announcements by e-mails, social media and University web page also from faculties’ panels constantly.
IRO organizes orientation program for incoming students and cultural activities in order to integrate international students with home students, arranging an academic mentor to each international students, matching with a buddy to help them for accommodation, residence permit, use of public sphere etc.
IRO helps to develop and sustain the variety of international cooperations about research and education and student/staff exchange connections that BVU has with institutions of academic excellence around the world.
