Sample Acceptance Criteria
All liquid and solid materials should be sent in appropriate plastic or glass laboratory bottles, preferably suitable for chemicals, that pose no risk of leakage, spillage, or tearing. The caps should be securely closed. Sample containers should be uncontaminated and should not cause contamination. SDS (Safety Data Sheets) should be provided when available.
For light-sensitive samples, dark-colored bottles or packaging should be used, and this information should be noted on the shipping document.
Small samples from universities should be sent in small glass bottles or tubes with closed mouths and in box packaging. Aluminum foil should not be used. A product delivery list and specifications should be provided in writing.
Witness samples should be retained for samples tested for forensic or authority reports.
The required sample amounts may vary depending on the type of test and analysis to be performed. Therefore, before sending samples, please consult with the Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Pharmaceutical Application and Research Center authorities regarding the quantity. Specifically, "witness samples" for small samples from universities cannot be retained, and additional measurements cannot be made. This information is provided to universities.
In addition to the issues mentioned above, the contents of the samples, customer sample codes, and chemical/physical properties (such as hygroscopicity, light sensitivity) and the solvents they dissolve in should be clearly labeled on the packaging and in the accompanying documents.
Samples that are not requested by the customer will be destroyed within 30 days after completion. Shipping information for returned samples will be provided in writing, and samples will be returned via courier or by hand, with shipping charges paid by the customer. Bezmiâlem Vakıf University Pharmaceutical Application and Research Center is not responsible for any damage to samples during shipping.
