Qualifications in Higher Education refer to what a person who successfully completes a higher education degree is expected to know, be able to do, and be competent in. The Turkish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (TYYÇ) is a system developed to enhance transparency, recognition, and mobility short Turkish higher education institutions. It aligns with the goals of the Lisbon Strategy published by the European Union in 2000 and the Bologna Process, which Turkey joined in 2001.
Our students can examine the learning outcomes they will acquire in the categories of knowledge, skills, and competencies through the TYYÇ – Program Qualifications Matrix. They can also analyze course-specific outcomes via the Course–Program Qualifications Matrix, which shows the contribution of each course to the overall program. Additionally, through the Information on Bachelor's Degree Programs, they can access summary information regarding admission, registration and graduation requirements, assessment and evaluation methods, progression to higher degree programs, and employment opportunities.
The TYYÇ Catalog helps our students to:
- Make informed choices about their educational programs and courses,
- Understand in advance the qualifications they will gain upon successful completion of these courses,
- Plan academic activities outside the curriculum,
- Reduce obstacles they may encounter during student mobility and encourage lifelong learning,
- Gain knowledge about horizontal and vertical transfers between education levels,
- Access a comprehensive list of program information, qualifications, and course outcomes offered at Bezmiâlem Vakıf University; in short, it supports learners and explains all educational opportunities available to them.
