Dietician; one who is educated in the field of nutrition and dietetics, evaluates the dietary habits of individuals and societies, determines the proper diet treatment for them, applies them, produces nutrition plans and policies and educates them.
Dietician; It is a profession group that knows best about food and nutrition, investigates health problems caused by food and nutrition, and makes use of existing nutrients in accordance with economic, health and hygienic rules. It also raises awareness and informs the individual and society about these diseases and other special occasions while being the only occupational field authorized to plan, train, implement and monitor nutrition programs suitable for medical and surgical treatments.
Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Bezmialem Vakıf University was established in 2014. The founder of our department is Dean Professor. Dr. Ahmet BELCE.

Dietitian's work opportunities; In hospitals, public and private hospitals, polyclinics, health centers, dialysis units, special diet policlinics, public health service institutions, health care centers, child and elderly nursing homes, community health centers, athletic health centers, home health services (ministry of health , municipalities), publicly funded institutions, food and pharmaceutical industries.
It is possible to work in a variety of centers based on social and individual happiness, in sports clubs, special nutrition and dietary counseling, visual and written media, radio / TV nutrition programs in the health clubs, oral or written scientific support, and they can also serve in the academic field.
It is also possible to participate in graduate and post-graduate academic studies and careers by attending graduate and doctoral programs in Turkey and abroad.
