Asst. Prof. Serdar Uysal is one of the visionaries behind the founding of BILSAB. His pioneering work in protein and microbial engineering, immunotherapy, and paratransgenesis lies at the heart of the institute’s mission to develop next-generation solutions for health and industry. He is especially known for engineering microorganisms and antibody platforms targeting vector-borne diseases and hematological cancers, and he continues to push boundaries in protein engineering.
