There is a part of the cortex that appears in the mouth of the tooth, and a part of the root that remains in the jawbone. At the center of the kuron and root, there is a vessel-nerve pack called pulp which provides the nutrition and vitality of the teeth. It protects the inner and outer enamel and dentin layers in the mouth. By moving away from these hard tissues that protect the decayed or traumatized pulp, the vascular-nerve pack is released and causes pain. Endodontic treatment aims to remove these damaged vessels and nerve structures, to remove microorganisms that may cause infection in root canal, and then to fill this area, which has been cleaned and shaped with various instruments, with a suitable filling material.
