It was established in 2014 under the name of Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy Rehabilitation under the Department of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation of the Institute of Health Sciences. The department has a multidisciplinary structure. It was established with the mission of providing high standard training for physiotherapists to conduct postgraduate research and carry out projects in the cardiopulmonary field. "Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation" doctoral program education continues in the Department.
