Bezmialem returned with Prizes from the Nephrology Congress! 10/25/2018

​​​The academics and students of our university have added yet another success in the national and international platforms. Our academics and students who attended the 35th National Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation Congress, were granted with awards for their studies. 

Lecturer of the Nephrology Department Associate prof. Meltem Gürsu, received the "TNDT Best Original Research Award" with her report titled "Is Pentraksin-3 Chronic Kidney Disease A Stronger Indicator of Inflammation than C-Reactive Protein?" at the 35th National Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation Congress while one of our Faculty of Medicine students, Atilla Kunt, received the "First Prize in Best Oral Communication" for his report titled  "Possible Kidney Side Effects of Exercise with Long-Term Whey Protein Use" during the same congress.        

In addition, the study which Mehtap Canpolat, one of the students of the Faculty of Medicine, carried out during the Scientific Committee, was accepted as a poster presentation by the Congress.

The congress, which was organized by the Turkish Society of Nephrology in Antalya, brings together a wide range of national and international scientists who cover a wide range of current and controversial topics related to nephrology, hypertension, dialysis and transplantation, prepared in line with the association's study groups and the recommendations of the associations physicians and students.
