A Protocol was Signed between our University and The Turkish Patent & Trademark Office.
A Cooperation took place between our university and the Turkish Patent & Trademark Office. Within the framework of this cooperation, "Bezmialem Vakıf University Information and Documentation Unit" was established within our university.
The signing ceremony of the cooperation was held online with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu and the President of the Turkish Patent & Trademark Office Prof. Dr. Habip Asan. In her speech, our Rector Prof. Dr. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu stated, "Six of our academicians returned with awards from the 5th Istanbul Invention Fair (ISIF'20).
The decisive and devoted work of our academicians on inventions and the fact that our University offers the environment and opportunities that will allow us to enable this subject is a strong indicator that we care about the issue of intellectual and industrial rights. Today, we are hosting the "Bezmialem Vakif University Information and Documentation Unit Signing Ceremony". I believe that with this step, which will reinforce our success, we will produce many more inventions that my country and nation will benefit from".
The signing ceremony which was held online continued with the "Industrial Property Rights Webinar". With the "Industrial Property Rights Basic Level Online Training Seminar" organized in cooperation with the Turkish Patent & Trademark Office and our university, our academicians were presented with information regarding issues such as trademark, trademark registration and post-registration transactions.
